REFEREE CLINIC
Metro Sports will be hosting a REFEREE CLINIC for anyone interested in becoming a referee for ball hockey. You will be carded and sanctioned to officiate any and all ball hockey in the province (as long as you pass), including any sanctioned league. The clinic will be held at the Metro Sportsplex on Sat and Sun (Nov. 8th and 9th) in the lounge from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sat, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. There is NO SHORTAGE of work for Metro officials, as in addition to our 5 on 5 format at the 'Sportsplex, we also handle the assigning for the 3 on 3, Masters and Co-Ed, the Ismali league, and both U of A leagues (Co-Ed and ladies). In addition, we also handle all major ball hockey tournaments during the winter and summer.
SCOREKEEPER CLINIC
There will be a Scorekeeper Clinic held on Wednesday, Nov. 12th at the Metro Sportsplex from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Anyone interested in earning a little extra money, can become a scorekeeper by attending this clinic. You will be trained and versed in the manual AND computer for our scorekeeping system. There is plenty of work for everyone, AND also cross-training for anyone interested in becoming a summer Rink Attendant, and winter Building Attendant.
