2005 WINTER BALL HOCKEY SEASON IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

Registration and information for all levels of play (men, women, and juniors), including 3 on 3, Co-Ed, and Masters, will be uploaded to the EMBH website here shortly, and packages will be mailed out to all team reps and interested parties right away!  So, if we don’t have your email or mailing address, get it to us right away!  Contact us by email at embh@shaw.ca by fax at 484-9957  or by phone at 484-5992 league office.

Remember, we are the ORIGINAL and the largest, winter ball hockey league here in Edmonton!  DON’T SIGN UP for anything else, until you see what we have to offer to teams and players this season! WOW!!!

 We have NUMEROUS exciting changes and updates for winter ball hockey this year, … and a couple pleasant surprises!  All of course, based upon last winter’s survey and your input and suggestions!

Attention:       Women’s Ball Hockey Teams 

Thank you for your interest in Edmonton Metro Ball Hockey (EMBH).  The 2005 summer ball hockey season is just around the corner, and that means it is once again time for teams to begin preparations. 

EMBH is pleased to announce the formation of its Summer Women’s Division for 2005!  Attached you will find a information brochure, team registration form, jerseys and uniforms information, and for your convenience we’ve also attached a simple pro and con comparison brochure outlining the many advantages of joining EMBH.  Please take a moment to review it and we’re sure you’ll agree.

 The cost to enter a team in EMBH for the 2005 summer season is $2000.00 and bear in mind this is for twenty (20) regular season games and two (2) guaranteed playoff games.   It has been split up into a deposit, and three (3) small payments for your convenience.  Your deposit and team application can be mailed, or dropped off at the address above as soon as possible to secure your spot.  If you are dropping off, please do so between the hours of 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

 Registration Dates:

Deposit                 $500.00                Feb. 18^th – 20^th
1^st Payment          $500.00                Mar. 4^th – 6^th
2^nd Payment         $500.00                Mar. 26^th – 27^th
Final Payment       $500.00                Apr. 22^nd – 24^th  

And here are additional discounts available to teams:

*Early Bird – simply pay your team fee in full by or on Mar. 4th, and you can deduct $50.00 off your fees.

 *Sponsor Pubs – sign up for a team “kegger” at one of the league’s sponsor pubs, and take an additional

$25.00 off your fees EACH TIME (max. of 3), ask for details.

 *Winter rebate – if your team participated in EMBH’s winter league OR mini-league in March, you can take $25.00 off your fees, … AND if that’s not enough, if your team won it’s division in EMBH’s winter league, take another $25.00 off!

Also, for your convenience (and those ever popular Air Miles), we accept Visa and Mastercard!  Simply charge your deposit and/or payments, no stamps or driving to registration. 

Please note that there are limited spots available in all Tiers, so don’t wait!  Once your team has been accepted, you will be sent an orientation letter with further information on the General Meeting for teams, important dates, practice/exhibition slots, team colors, level breakdowns, etc. … our board of directors is in place and at your disposal to answer any questions or concerns you have.  Our board is comprised of four (4) women who are players and team reps like yourself, volunteering their time for you and the league.
